SAGE

I attended the Summer of Applied Geophysical Experience as an undergrad in the Summer of 2013 and returned as a Teaching Assistant in the Summer of 2014.

SAGE is a unique educational program hosted through Los Alamos National Lab and Purdue University designed to introduce students in geophysics and related fields such as Physics, Math, and Engineering, to hands on geophysical exploration and research. The program exposes students to a variety of geophysical methods including: seismic reflection and refraction, magnetotellurics, transient electromagnetics, and ground-penetrating radar, both in the classroom and field applications.

Beyond the educational values of SAGE, it is also a great opportunity to network with industry, other students who share your interests, and a chance to make friendships that last a lifetime.

Thanks to all the SAGE students and faculty, especially Nikita Zorin for this video
