This site was made in 2012 to facilitate distribution and development of my graduate studies work. It contains Documents and Abstracts that I have or am currently working on. This site also contains a copy of my CV, and photos of my field areas and trips. If you are a graduate student thinking about coming to University of Wyoming, and are interested in Geology or Geophysics feel free to contact me. I would be happy to offer any tips, suggestions, or information that would help you find an advisor with similar interests. My contact information can be found here.

My advisor is Dr. Susan Swapp. Our current project aims to optimize uranium extraction from In-Situ-Leaching mines in the southern Powder River Basin, through classification of the Uranium minerals near Pumpkin Buttes. This has not been done before because the uranium grains are less than five microns in diameter. We use FE-SEMs and EMPs to work at this tiny scale.
