I'm currently a first-year geology PhD student at the University of Wyoming studying igneous layering processes in Antarctica's Dufek Intrusion with my advisor Mike Cheadle. Iam originally from Long Island, New York, and I obtained my B.S. at SUNY Potsdam in Potsdam, NY in 2011 before moving to Nevada, where I worked for a short time as an exploration geologist for Barrick Gold Corporation. After working for Barrick, I moved to Bloomington, IN where I obtained my M.S. at Indiana University in 2013. During my time at Indiana, I studied the mafic dikes and intrusions surrounding the Eagle Ni-Cu-PGE deposit in Michigan. I also completed an internship with Rio Tinto as a field/exploration geologist in Michigan, where I mapped outcrop and explored for new Ni-Cu-PGE deposits in the area around Eagle.
