Research

Interests:
Towards the conclusion of my undergraduate career, I began to develop an interest for modeling subsurface features. I was very fortunate to have had an opportunity to complete an undergraduate research project to determine geometry of intrusions at Big Bend National Park, Texas using a magnetic survey. This work eventually led me to discover the University of Wyoming and the Wyoming Center for Environmental Hydrology and Geophysics (WyCEHG). This was a great opportunity for me to pursue goals related to hydrology issues to be able to make that difference back home.

Current Research:
I will be investigating the critical zone at Reynolds Creek Critical Zone Observatory (RCCZO). By imaging the subsurface with techniques such as electrical resistivity and seismic refraction, I will be able to determine the relationship between snowdrifts, deep water flow paths, and bedrock. Understanding the weathering process in the critical zone can give insight of transportation of water in the subsurface.
