Experiences

I was fortunate enough to participate in the University of Texas Jackson School Honors Program. This program opened up the world of geoscience research to me and allowed me to learn about geology in exciting locales. The program went on a field trip to the Colorado Plateau in the southwestern US and a trip to the Highlands of Scotland. I was able to see and learn about the cultural and geologic history of these areas and I am grateful for these opportunities. I have also studied geology in the Hill Country of Texas, West Texas, the Southern Rockies, the Wind River Range and Laramie Range in Wyoming, the Basin and Range in Idaho and Eastern Oregon, and the Sierra Nevada and Coast Ranges of California.
