I spend a lot of my time plotting using Generic Mapping Tools (GMT). This is a program was developed at the University of Hawaii, and in my opinion makes some of the best looking scientific plots and maps. Since I use it so much but it has a steep learning curve I decided to share some of my scripts and knowledge that I have picked up over the years.
