I love being a graduate student in the geological sciences! As a geophysicist I find the ratio of office to field work is usally somewhre between 85-90% in the office behind a computer screen but the remain 10-15% I am usually outside in a cool location collecting data. My other hobby is taking pictures so I always have cool pictures from the field.
