These are the three main boxes that run the GMR. They probably weigh close to 500 lbs when combined. The closest box is the large capacitor that steps the voltage up from 24 V to 400 V. The second box is the transmitting unit as is responsible for the pulses through the coils. The last box contains small capacitors so the LRC circuit can be tuned to the Larmor frequency.
